Swamp coolers — also called evaporative coolers — work by pulling hot, dry air through water-saturated pads. Evaporation drops the temperature 15–25°F before the air reaches your guests. That range reflects ideal conditions: at humidity below 20%, you'll see the full 25°F drop; at 30–40% humidity, expect 10–18°F; above 50%, cooling output drops significantly. The drier the air, the more effective the cooling. Phoenix's climate is one of the best in the country for it.

The rental includes the Hessaire MC61V unit, a 50-foot water line, a 50-foot extension cord, setup, and takedown. Delivery is available and calculated at checkout based on your location. You need to provide one standard electrical outlet and an outdoor water source — both within 50 feet of where the unit will be placed.
