How Many Tables & Chairs Do I Need for My Event?

If needed, you can technically fit 2 extra chairs at most tables — but we don't usually recommend planning for that. Guests come in all sizes, tables often have centerpieces, food, and drinks taking up space, and depending on your event, not everyone will be seated at once. It's almost always better to plan with a few extra chairs on hand than to plan too tight.

We started Johnny's Party Co. after a frustrating personal experience with dirty equipment and a rental company we couldn't get ahold of. So every chair we send out is clean and well cared for before it reaches you — no wondering what shape it will show up in.
Resin Chairs or Folding Chairs — Which Should You Choose?
Both are clean and comfortable, but they suit different kinds of events. Here's how to decide:
Resin Chairs
A more upscale, finished look — great for quinceañeras, receptions, and dressier occasions where presentation matters.
Folding Chairs
Practical and budget-friendly — a good fit for casual backyard parties, large gatherings, or events where you're seating a lot of guests.
Delivery & Pickup in Peoria
Our team delivers curbside using dollies across Peoria, including Vistancia and Fletcher Heights. If you'd like your tables and chairs placed somewhere else on the property — backyard, venue hall, patio — we're happy to bring them there as long as there's easy, clear access for the dolly to get through. If our team needs to hand-carry items instead, an additional charge applies.
For business deliveries to a second or third floor, we'll need elevator access to get everything up safely.
Prefer to pick up? Many customers do. If you're driving a smaller car or SUV, choose our folding tables — they break down flat and fit more easily than our banquet-style tables.
Setup and teardown aren't included in the item price, but can be added at checkout for $1 per chair and $2 per table.
